The Signolux Tower Complete Home Fire & Carbon Monoxide Alerting System combines two interlinked smoke detectors, a combined carbon monoxide and heat detector, a portable Tower Receiver and a vibrating pad.

When a detector activates, it sounds its own alarm and sends a wireless signal to the Signolux system. The Tower Receiver provides bright flashing lights and adjustable audible alerts, while the connected vibrating pad gives an additional warning through vibration.

Two Interlinked Smoke Detectors

The package includes two Signolux Guardion Interlink Smoke Detectors, allowing smoke detection in two suitable areas of the home.

Each detector monitors for smoke and sounds an audible alarm when activated.

When correctly configured, the detectors can communicate with one another using wireless interlink technology, helping to extend the alarm notification beyond the location where smoke is first detected.

The Signolux wireless system also sends an alert to the Tower Receiver, providing additional warning methods for people who may not hear the detectors.

Carbon Monoxide and Heat Detection

The Signolux Interlink Carbon Monoxide and Heat Detector adds monitoring for two additional hazards.

Carbon monoxide is a colourless, odourless and potentially dangerous gas that can be produced by faulty or poorly ventilated fuel-burning appliances.

The combined detector monitors for elevated carbon monoxide levels and also responds when the surrounding temperature exceeds approximately 60°C.

It is particularly useful in suitable locations where conventional optical smoke detectors may be prone to unwanted alarms, provided installation follows the manufacturer's guidance.

Portable Signolux Tower Receiver

The Signolux Tower Receiver provides the main visual and audible notification for the system.

When a compatible detector sends an alarm signal, the receiver responds with a bright all-round flashing light, an illuminated event symbol and an adjustable audible alert.

The Tower offers 16 selectable alert tones or melodies, which can be assigned to different types of notification.

Its compact cylindrical design makes it easy to position on a bedside table, shelf or other suitable surface.

The receiver contains rechargeable batteries and can operate independently of its mains power supply for a limited period, making it suitable for use in different areas of the home.

Additional Vibration for Night-Time Use

The included vibrating pad connects directly to the accessory socket on the Tower Receiver.

It provides a strong vibrating alert when the receiver is activated and can be positioned beneath a pillow or mattress, as directed by the manufacturer.

This is particularly useful for people who remove their hearing aids at night or may not notice flashing lights while asleep.

The vibrating pad draws its power from the Tower Receiver, so no additional batteries are required.

Together, the flashing light, audible alert, illuminated symbols and vibration offer several methods of recognising an important safety warning.

How Does the System Work?

1. The two Guardion Smoke Detectors and the combined Carbon Monoxide / Heat Detector are installed in suitable locations around the home.
2. The detectors are configured for the required interlink operation and paired with the Signolux Tower Receiver.
3. The Tower Receiver is positioned where alerts can be seen or heard, or beside the bed when used with the vibrating pad.
4. The vibrating pad is connected directly to the Tower Receiver's accessory socket.
5. If smoke, carbon monoxide or excessive heat is detected, the appropriate detector sounds an audible alarm and transmits a wireless signal.
6. The Tower Receiver responds with flashing lights, an event symbol and an audible warning, while the vibrating pad provides an additional vibrating alert.

The system offers multiple methods of warning the user without relying entirely on hearing an ordinary household alarm.

The rechargeable Tower Receiver should be kept sufficiently charged to maintain reliable operation.
