The Signolux Tower Dual Smoke Alarm Alerting System combines two Guardion Interlink Smoke Detectors, a portable Tower Receiver and a vibrating pad to help you stay aware of smoke alarms around your home.

When smoke is detected, the activated smoke detector sounds its alarm and sends a wireless signal to the Signolux system. The Tower Receiver responds with bright flashing lights and an adjustable audible warning, while the connected vibrating pad provides an additional vibrating alert.

Two Interlinked Smoke Detectors

The package includes two Signolux Guardion Interlink Smoke Detectors, allowing smoke detection in two suitable locations around the home.

Each detector monitors for smoke and sounds its own audible alarm when activated.

When correctly paired, the detectors communicate wirelessly, allowing an alarm detected in one location to activate the other interlinked detector.

The Signolux system also sends an alert to the Tower Receiver, providing additional warning methods for people who may not hear the smoke alarms themselves.

Each detector features a sealed lithium battery with a typical operating life of up to 10 years.

Portable Signolux Tower Receiver

The Signolux Tower Receiver provides the main visual and audible notification for the system.

When a compatible smoke detector is activated, the receiver responds with a bright all-round flashing light, an illuminated event symbol and an adjustable audible alert.

The Tower offers 16 selectable alert tones or melodies and a powerful sound output of up to 90 dB at one metre.

Its compact cylindrical design makes it easy to position on a bedside table, shelf or other suitable surface.

The receiver includes rechargeable batteries and a mains power supply, allowing it to be moved around the home and used independently of mains power for a limited period.

Additional Vibration for Night-Time Use

The included vibrating pad connects directly to the accessory socket on the Tower Receiver.

It provides a strong vibrating alert when the receiver is activated and can be positioned beneath a pillow or mattress, as recommended in the manufacturer's instructions.

This is particularly useful for people who remove their hearing aids at night or may not notice flashing lights or audible warnings while sleeping.

The pad is powered directly by the Tower Receiver, so no additional batteries are required.

How Does the System Work?

1. The two Guardion Interlink Smoke Detectors are installed in suitable locations around the home.
2. The smoke detectors are configured to communicate with one another and paired with the Signolux Tower Receiver.
3. The Tower Receiver is positioned where its alerts can be seen or heard, or beside the bed when used with the vibrating pad.
4. The vibrating pad is connected directly to the Tower Receiver's accessory socket.
5. If either smoke detector detects smoke, it sounds its own alarm and activates the other correctly interlinked detector.
6. The Tower Receiver responds to the wireless warning with flashing lights, an audible signal and a visual event indication. The vibrating pad provides an additional vibrating alert.

This combination helps users recognise smoke alarms without relying entirely on hearing a conventional audible warning.

Additional Information

The Signolux Tower Receiver is rechargeable and can be moved around the home, allowing it to be positioned where alerts are most useful.

When using the vibrating pad, the receiver should be placed securely beside the bed or another suitable location, with the pad connected to its accessory socket.

The system can be expanded with additional compatible Signolux equipment, including further smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, doorbell transmitters and other alerting devices.

All smoke detectors must be installed, tested and maintained in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and relevant fire safety guidance.

The Tower Receiver should be kept sufficiently charged to maintain reliable operation.

Please note: This system requires initial pairing and setup. The two smoke detectors must be correctly interlinked and tested with the Tower Receiver before use. The number and location of smoke detectors required will depend on the property, and two detectors may not provide complete coverage for every home.
