The Signolux DS2 Dual Smoke Alarm Alerting System combines two Guardion Interlink Smoke Detectors, a Signolux DS2 Alarm Clock and a vibrating pad to help you stay aware of important smoke alarm warnings around your home.

When smoke is detected, the activated smoke detector sounds its alarm and sends a wireless warning through the Signolux system. The DS2 Alarm Clock responds with bright flashing lights and an audible alert, while the connected vibrating pad provides an additional warning through vibration.

Two Interlinked Smoke Detectors

The package includes two Signolux Guardion Interlink Smoke Detectors, allowing smoke detection in two suitable areas of the home.

When correctly configured, the detectors communicate wirelessly, allowing an alarm detected in one location to activate the other interlinked detector.

The Signolux system also sends a wireless warning to the DS2 Alarm Clock, providing additional notification for people who may not hear the detectors themselves.

Each detector features a sealed lithium battery with a typical operating life of up to 10 years.

Signolux DS2 Bedside Alarm Clock

The Signolux DS2 Alarm Clock acts as the main bedside receiver for the system.

When a compatible smoke detector activates, the DS2 provides bright flashing lights and an audible warning to help attract your attention.

Its large illuminated digital display makes the time easy to read, while the automatic brightness adjustment helps keep the display comfortable to use in different lighting conditions.

The DS2 also functions as a normal alarm clock, with adjustable alarm volume and tone, a snooze function and a choice of 12- or 24-hour time display.

This makes it particularly convenient for customers who want both everyday alarm clock functions and additional household safety alerts in one bedside device.

Additional Vibration for Night-Time Use

The included vibrating pad connects directly to the DS2 Alarm Clock.

It provides strong vibration when an alert is received and can be positioned beneath a pillow or mattress, as recommended in the manufacturer's instructions.

How Does the System Work?

1. The two Guardion Interlink Smoke Detectors are installed in suitable locations around the home.
2. The detectors are configured to communicate with one another and paired with the Signolux DS2 Alarm Clock.
3. The DS2 Alarm Clock is positioned beside the bed and connected to its mains power supply.
4. The vibrating pad is connected directly to the DS2 accessory socket and positioned as recommended by the manufacturer.
5. If either smoke detector detects smoke, it sounds its own alarm and activates the other correctly interlinked detector.
6. The DS2 responds to the wireless signal with flashing lights and an audible warning, while the vibrating pad provides an additional vibrating alert.

The DS2 requires mains power for normal operation and has provision for backup batteries to support specified functions during a power interruption.

All smoke detectors must be installed, tested and maintained in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and relevant fire safety guidance.

Please note: This system requires initial pairing and setup. Both smoke detectors must be correctly interlinked and tested with the DS2 receiver before use. The number and location of smoke detectors required will depend on the property, and two detectors may not provide complete fire detection coverage in every home.
