Simple, Reliable Assistive Listening Devices

Our personal listeners are assistive listening devices that are designed to improve everyday listening.

They are portable, battery-operated personal sound amplifiers, designed for anyone who struggles to hear conversation in public areas or TV at home, and they are also hearing aid compatible. It works by capturing sound via a microphone or direct connection, amplifying it by up to 60 decibels, and sending tailored audio directly to your ears or hearing aids without disturbing others.

For non-hearing aid users: Sound is delivered through comfortable stethoscope-style (under-chin) headphones or traditional over-ear headphones.
For hearing aid users: A neckloop accessory creates a localized electromagnetic field, which is picked up directly by the Telecoil (T-setting) on your hearing aids.

Once the sound enters the device, you can adjust it to suit your specific hearing profile:

Volume Control: A large rotary dial lets you turn the sound up or down by up to 60 dB.
Tone Control: A smaller dial lets you boost or cut high & low frequencies. This makes voices sound clearer & reduces the harshness of background noise.

The Crescendo 60 requires standard AA batteries & is highly portable, making it an excellent assistive listening device for both home & travel.
