»Bettear SHOW« is a hearing support system based on Wi-Fi. It enables people with both normal and impaired hearing to take part in live events using their personal Bluetooth®-enabled hearing components.
»B-SHOW«, the streaming server, can be connected to any audio source. It converts the audio signal into data packets and the transmission takes place via Wi-Fi access points. Listeners use their smartphones with the Bettear app installed as receivers.
The listener’s hearing components, such as hearing aids, cochlear implants or headphones, play out the audio signal.
Mobile reception of Wi-Fi audio streams
The Bettear app for smartphones is available free of charge for iOS (from version 15) and Android (from version 9) in the respective app stores and is as easy as it is convenient to use. Users connect their own hearing aids or headphones to their smartphone via the app and receive high-quality, personalised sound.
