With adjustable volume up to 120 dB, the Sonumaxx 2.4 PR Neckloop System from Humantechnik has exceptionally clear audio reproduction and high-quality sound - reliable and free of background noise.
A special feature of the Sonumaxx 2.4 System is the possibility to switch from the reception of the TV sound to the built in microphone of the receiver so that you can listen to conversations too.
This version of the Sonumaxx 2.4 systems comes supplied with a Sarabec NL6 Neckloop and a Sarabec HS5 Stethoscope Headset, either of which can be plugged into the Pocket Receiver giving exceptionally good sound reproduction. This system would suit people who have hearing aids but don't always like to wear them.
The transmitter serves as storage and docking station, at the same time recharging the receiver's battery. A fully charged battery will last 6 to 8 hours, depending on the set volume. Two batteries are included, so these can be used and recharged alternatingly.
A button on the front of the sonumaxx 2.4 transmitter serves to select one of three sound profile presets, so the user can choose which one suits him best.
The Sonumaxx 2.4 Headset System has digital (Optical/Toslink) connections, and also Analogue audio connection or you can use the supplied Microphone to pick up the sound.

Customer:
Can two receivers (or more) be connected to the audio transmission from one base? If so, how?
Sarabec's Reply:
Yes, follow these instructions, ensuring that the existing receiver is powered off... 1. Disconnect the transmitter from the power supply. 2. Turn ON the receiver. 3. Hold the MIC-button pressed for approx. 5 seconds, the green LED on the receiver will start to blink rapidly. Immediately reconnect the power supply to the transmitter. 4. The receiver and the transmitter are hereby paired automatically, the steadily lit green LED on the receiver indicates successful pairing
Is there any connection option from the base unit to a TV without an optical output?
Yes, this system comes with connections for a headphone socket (3.5mm jack) and RCA Phono (Red & White)
Can you put headphones that go over your ears instead of in your ears.
Yes, absolutely. Plug any headphones you like in there.
I have ordered the sonumax headset/neckloop today. will we be able to set up the neckloop ourselves or does it have to be done by you / hospital to connect to hearing aids ???
As long as you have a loop program on the hearing aids you wouldn't need to do anything other than turn it on.
Can you use without hearing aids,at your volume and other people can hear without being deafened.
Yes, that's exactly the way it works.
