This is a combined textphone and telephone with inductive coupler.
This phone has many helpful additions to the basic text messaging for those who are deaf or have hearing difficulties, It is easy to use and there are special keys for Dial, Menu and Volume, arrow keys for easily selecting functions and Sticky-keys for single handed typing.
The uniphone 1150 has a backlit LCD display with contrast control and 2 lines of 48 characters, It has an answer phone, and takes messages. It indicates when the phone you are calling is ringing, engaged or the line is unobtainable and tells you the length and time of your calls. It has 2K memory to store telephone conversations and 5K memory to store the Auto-Answer messages.
It has a standard telephone headset with a three volume setting and inductive coupler for those using a hearing aid
