The Radiolight DIR Headset System is used to help you listen more clearly to your TV, radio etc. without any trailing leads across the floor. It allows you to enjoy your TV etc at your own volume without disturbing others.
It is particularly useful if you tend to move around whilst listening to the television or radio as the signal is not interrupted by walls etc.
The Radiolight Headset Listener consists of two parts, a mains powered transmitter and a receiver powered by a rechargeable battery. The transmitter picks up the sound from your TV and sends it via invisible radio waves to the headset receiver. The Radiolight Listener has a range of 80 metres.

I bought the neckloop version to replace an old corded system. In the end I am well pleased, after a couple of hurdles. First issue was that my TV only has an optical audio output, no phono. And for some reason, even though the SCART socket is supposed to do audio out, it wouldn''t work with this device.
I ordered a convertor, and meanwhile used the microphone supplied with the Radiolight. That worked fine, except that it needed a minimal volume level from the TV that was louder than I wanted. My old wired device would work however low the voume was set.
Anyway, once the digital to analog convertor arrived, the Radiolight showed it''s true colours. Wonderfully clear sound, and it''s great being able to go to the kitchen to make drinks, and still hear what''s being broadcast! It would be helpful if the product information could alert people of the need for a convertor if they only have optical audio output.

Thanks for the feedback, we intend to start selling the digital audio adaptors and will obviously also offer technical support on the products too.
Unfortunately due to the sheer number of different television models available we can not cover every aspect of connectivity in the instruction manuals, however we are more than happy to talk to our customers about the connection issues and help them to find an appropriate solution.
