The Amplicom Powertel 580 Combo is a set of two phones with one being a corded telephone and the other a cordless phone.
Both of these phones have very high amplification so they are ideal for anyone who is hard of hearing.
Amplicom Desk PhoneEven though the Amplicom desk phone has a cordless handset included in the Powertel 580 Combo package it works exactly the same as any standard desk phone.
Making and receiving calls is no different and in the event of a power failure it will still allow calls to be made.
The Amplicom Powertel 580 combo desk phone also has built in amplification of not only the call volume but also the telephone ringer as well. At its peak this Powertel desk phone can increase the telephone call volume up to 35dB and the ringer volume up to 90dB.
The large buttons and LCD screen make the Amplicom desk phone very easy to use and great for anyone with visual or dexterity problems. Also built in is an answering machine with 11 minute record time and a handsfree speaker too.
